Description
The US Government Publishing Office is seeking a contractor to produce 2400 trifold brochures with a trim size of 11 x 8-1/2" and a folded size of approximately 3-5/8 x 8-1/2". The brochures must be printed in 4-color process with type, illustrations, screens, agency logos, photos, and QR codes. The contractor must also apply a clear, non-yellowing, matte aqueous or UV coating to prevent scratching and smearing. The brochures will be delivered to the VA Medical Center in Marion, Illinois.
Some key requirements for the contractor include:
* Producing the brochures using either conventional offset or digital printing, with a minimum resolution of 2400 x 2400 dpi or 1200 x 1200 dpi x 8 bit
* Ensuring that the final output meets Quality Level III standards
* Providing e-mailed electronic page proofs for review and approval
* Notifying the ordering agency of shipment and delivery via e-mail
* Packing the brochures in a suitable manner to prevent damage during transit
