Cameron County is seeking a qualified pharmacist to provide consulting services for its public‑health clinic pharmacies. The consultant will supervise pharmacy operations, conduct quarterly on‑site visits, develop policies and specifications, oversee drug procurement and storage, assist with licensure for new sites, maintain transaction records, and deliver annual in‑service training. Work averages 4‑8 hours per month per site, with one full‑day (≈5 hours) visit each month to each of five county pharmacy locations and limited remote follow‑up (≤15 minutes). The contract is a three‑year professional services agreement with a possible one‑year renewal, subject to a 30‑day “out” clause and compliance with federal funding rules.
