Description
The 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pennsylvania Air National Guard intends to award a single source purchase order for the purchase and installation of an Advantor 6.2 security system. This upgrade is necessary due to the end-of-life status of the ASN 5.0 and the requirement for a secure, Windows 10-compliant operating environment. The system will enhance situational awareness for the Base Defense Operations Center and ensure compatibility with the current Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.
• The requirement is for a single source purchase order under the authority of RFO 12.102(a).
• The transition to Advantor 6.2 is a mandated end-of-life status of the ASN 5.0.
• The system will ensure compatibility with current Air Force Life Cycle Management Center.
• Advantor is the only approved company for Air Force security systems, as they are the only company compliant with Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705.
