Description
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Los Banos Area Office is seeking a qualified vendor to provide rental‑plus‑maintenance services for protective clothing (jackets, coats, shirts, jeans, coveralls) and related operational supplies (floor mats, shop towels, dust mops, hand sanitizers). The contractor will deliver clean, like‑new items, collect soiled items weekly, perform minor repairs, conduct quarterly inventories, and manage sizing/resizing for CHP personnel. All services are to be performed Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑16:00 at the Los Banos facility, with a contract term from January 1 2027 through January 31 2030.
• Scope includes uniform rental, weekly exchange, cleaning, repair, and inventory reporting.
• Required qualifications: ≥ 3 years experience, appropriate insurance, background checks, and ability to meet California DVBE, small‑business, and other preference incentives (though DVBE participation is waived).
• Bids must be submitted in a sealed paper envelope by 2:00 PM on September 30 2026; questions are due by September 23 2026.
