Description
The State of Hawaii Department of Health’s State Laboratories Division is seeking a qualified contractor to replace a single exhaust‑fan Variable Speed Drive (VFD) at its laboratory facility. The contractor must remove the existing VFD, supply a new equivalent unit, install it, integrate it with the existing fan motor and the building‑management system, and provide a one‑year manufacturer parts warranty and a one‑year workmanship warranty. All work must be completed within three months of the notice to proceed, and all taxes, fees, and ancillary costs must be included in the bid price. The bid is awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive offer submitted through the Aloha eBUYS electronic procurement system.
• Replace and dispose of the existing exhaust‑fan VFD.
• Supply, deliver, and install a new VFD that meets the existing fan’s specifications and integrates with the Honeywell building‑management system.
• Provide shop drawings/installation information at least four weeks before installation, and offer a one‑year parts and workmanship warranty.
• Complete all work within three months of the notice to proceed; all costs (taxes, shipping, disposal, etc.) must be bundled in the quoted price.
