Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for various fabrics required to support UNICOR's production of inmate clothing at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Oakdale, LA. The solicitation is for a five-year, fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract consisting of one base year and four option years. The contract will contain an Economic Price Adjustment (EPA) clause and is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 313210, Broadwoven Fabric Mills.
• The contract requires the supplier to maintain Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) at the supplier's location and Consignment Inventory at FCI Oakdale facility.
• The solicitation incorporates the requirements of the Buy American Act (BAA) in accordance with FAR Subpart 25.1, and all supplies must be compliant and will be evaluated accordingly.
• The contractor shall provide a Certificate of Conformance (COC) for all shipments, and the COC shall accompany or precede each shipment of material.
• The place of performance for the greige fabric and finished fabric shall be identified and shall include the Company Name, Address, Contact Person, Phone Number, and email address.
