Description
The State of Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform a one‑time preventive‑maintenance (PM) service for all DHR‑managed HVAC equipment in four southeast‑region counties. Work must follow the detailed equipment list and inspection‑form requirements, with monthly inspections for Russell County and quarterly inspections for Macon, Barbour, and Bullock counties. The contractor must have attended the mandatory site‑visit from Round 1, complete all required forms, and provide pre‑approved repair quotes for any deficiencies identified during the PM visit. The contract period runs from July 1 2026 through September 30 2026.
• Perform PM visits (monthly in Russell, quarterly elsewhere) covering filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant level checks, belt & motor lubrication, electrical inspections, and water‑treatment reporting for 11 counties.
• Complete and submit the appropriate inspection forms (A, C, D, G, H, J, K, M) signed by DHR personnel for each piece of equipment.
• Provide detailed repair quotes for any corrective work; repairs must be completed by the contract end date.
• Must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and master gas‑fitter licenses, and EPA Section 608 certification for technicians.
• All work must be finished by 9/30/2026; payment is based on a unit‑price per site covering labor, travel, supplies, and tools.
