Description
The California Department of Highway Patrol is seeking a qualified contractor to perform full‑service preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment at its Garberville Area Office (30 West Coast Road, Redway, CA 95560). The work includes quarterly inspections, cleaning, filter replacement, refrigerant checks, belt and motor servicing, and detailed reporting. No repair funding is included; any repairs must be separately approved. The contract runs for three years, with potential extensions, and will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bid after applicable preference adjustments.
• Quarterly preventive‑maintenance visits (no more than 90 days apart) with detailed check‑lists signed on‑site.
• Coverage of all indoor/outdoor units, air handlers, exhaust fans, furnaces, economizers, and related components.
• Contractor must provide all required consumables (filters, belts, lubricants, etc.) within the quarterly fee and obtain written approval for any repair work.
• Documentation required for each visit, plus a one‑year workmanship guarantee and compliance with CSLB C‑20 licensing.
