The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) is soliciting applications for the Coordinating Administrative Core (HCAC) and the Data Coordinating Center (HDCC) for the HEALthy Brain and Child Development (HBCD) study. The HBCD study is a large cohort of pregnant women and their children recruited during their 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy and followed longitudinally into childhood. The study examines brain and behavioral development, with a focus on how prenatal substance exposure affects health outcomes.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Leading and managing the HBCD consortium, including budget, performance metrics, protocol standardization, policies, outreach, and dissemination plans
• Coordinating, standardizing, and integrating all core data collection, processing, storage, and analytic activities of the consortium
• Facilitating data sharing to the broader scientific community to enable broad use of HBCD data
• Ensuring data sharing policies, methods, and standards are consistent with NIH-wide data and resource sharing policies
• Registering the study with the HEAL Platform and providing study information, including study-level metadata
• Submitting data, metadata, and code to a HEAL-compliant repository
• Using HEAL-required core questionnaires and considering additional questionnaires from the HEAL Common Data Elements (CDE) Program
