Dakota County is soliciting qualified vendors to provide bulk, STA‑certified, Class I yard‑waste compost on an as‑needed basis for residents, schools, and other program participants. The contractor must receive participant requests, contact them within three business days, schedule deliveries of up to five cubic yards per location, provide application‑rate guidance, and invoice monthly. The contract runs from mid‑March through early December 2026, with a flexible delivery schedule driven by participant demand.
• Deliver STA‑certified Class I compost (various blends) in quantities of 1‑5 cubic yards per site.
• Manage all logistics: participant outreach, scheduling, on‑site coordination, and monthly invoicing with detailed delivery records.
• Meet insurance, certification, and documentation requirements (workers’ comp, CGL, cyber, etc.) and supply required forms and guidance handouts.
