Pipette calibration, maintenance, and repair services in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking a contractor to provide pipette calibration, maintenance, and repair services in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment. The contractor will be responsible for calibrating and repairing various types of pipettes, including manual and electric single and multichannel pipettes, repeaters, and motorized pipette controllers. The contractor will also be required to provide certificates of calibration and perform basic servicing and repairs onsite. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with four onsite visits per year. The contractor must have ISO 17025 certification and meet the requirements of ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2016 or ISO 8655. Some key points to consider: • The contractor will be working with the Influenza Division of the CDC, which is responsible for the development of Candidate Vaccine Viruses. • The contractor will be required to provide calibration and repair services for a large number of pipettes, including 1218 manual single channel pipettes, 182 electronic single channel pipettes, and 443 manual multichannel pipettes. • The contractor will be required to provide certificates of calibration and perform basic servicing and repairs onsite. • The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with four onsite visits per year.
