Description
The Town of Carlisle is seeking proposals for the lease of temporary library space during the renovation of the existing library building. The temporary library space must be available by mid-May 2026 and leased for twelve months, with an option to extend up to six additional months. The space must provide at least 1,400 sq. ft. of usable public library and staff operations space, be ADA-compliant, and have basic building suitability, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, lighting, fire suppression, and security systems. The space must also have broadband capability and parking availability.
Key evaluation criteria include location, total usable square footage, accessibility and ADA compliance, bathroom facilities, building systems, broadband capability, parking availability, floor load capacity, kitchenette availability, maintenance and utilities, and zoning and legal compliance.

Proposals must be submitted in two separate sealed envelopes, one for the technical proposal and one for the price proposal, and must be received by the Office of the Town Administrator by April 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
