ITB 20-ES-002 - Tatum Boulevard to Elizabeth Street water main

This contract awards the City of Edgewater the design‑build construction of a new potable water main extending from Tatum Boulevard to Elizabeth Street. The scope includes installation of approximately 3,850 linear feet of water‑main pipe (8‑in. & 12‑in. PVC, 10‑in. & 12‑in. HDPE), directional‑drill segments, four interconnections, wet‑taps, valve installations, traffic management, excavation, de‑watering, testing (pressure and bacteriological), and full site restoration. The project must be substantially completed within 45 calendar days of notice to proceed, with final completion 30 days thereafter (total ≤ 75 days). The City required a 5 % bid bond and performance/payment bonds for contracts over $200 k. The award was made to The Kenton Group, Inc. based on the lowest responsible and responsive bid of $393,385.
