Construction Manager at Risk for Ames and Ankeny MVD Building System Modernization

The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk for the modernization of the Ames and Ankeny MVD building systems. The contract involves providing Construction Manager at Risk services for the Ames Complex and the Ankeny Motor Vehicle Division. The selected vendor will be responsible for building system modernization in existing buildings in a phased approach. The contract will be awarded based on a qualification-based proposal, and the DOT reserves the right to negotiate fees prior to entering into a contract with the most qualified Construction Manager. • The proposal must include a technical proposal that is a single master document, electronically searchable, with material clearly labeled in a table of contents. • The evaluation criteria include firm history and information, relevant project experience, project team, project approach, location, and responsiveness. • The contract is expected to be awarded for an initial period, with the possibility of extension for up to the number of renewals identified in the RFP.
