Description
The Metropolitan District (MDC) is seeking SBE‑certified, MBE or WBE plumbing and drainage firms to provide on‑call sewer house‑connection renewal services for district customers. The program aims to prevent sewer backups, eliminate groundwater discharge into the sanitary system, and correct improper connections. MDC plans to award multiple three‑year contracts (with two optional one‑year renewals) on an as‑needed basis, with firms submitting Statements of Qualifications per the RFQ. Pre‑bid meetings are scheduled for November 28 and 29 2023 in Hartford, and sealed proposals are due by December 18 2023.
