Description
The contract is for fire alarm monitoring services for the School Board of Charlotte County, Florida. The vendor will be required to monitor all fire alarm systems throughout the District and notify personnel on the call list, dispatch as required per specifications, terms, and conditions. The contract was awarded to four vendors: Security Alarm Corporation, AFA Protective Systems, Inc., Crime Shield Fire & Security, Inc., and Patriot Alarm Services, Inc. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and services necessary to monitor the fire alarm systems.
• The contract requires the vendor to monitor five existing fire alarm systems: Notifier, EST, Gamewell, Siemens, and Silent Knight.
• A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting and/or walk-through was offered to sellers who posted a request on www.PublicPurchase.com at least three business days prior to the scheduled question deadline date.
• The contract has a notice of award decision, which recommends the rank order of the vendors based on the award criteria set forth in the Invitation to Negotiate (ITN).
