ON-CALL PLANNING & ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT SERVICES

The County of San Luis Obispo is seeking on-call planning and environmental consultant services to support the Planning and Building Department. The scope of work includes review and management of land use, subdivision, and general plan amendment applications, preparation of environmental determinations, and provision of specialized technical expertise. The contract is for up to a 5-year period and was awarded to four consultants under Tier 1. The key services to be provided include: • Review and management of land use, subdivision, and general plan amendment applications • Preparation of Environmental Determinations including Exemptions, Initial Studies, Negative Declarations, Supplemental documents, and Addendums • Preparation of staff reports and presentation at hearings • Perform mitigation monitoring or condition compliance • Provide specialized technical expertise in support of the general functions above • Provide peer review services of technical documents and studies in support of the general functions above
