Background Investigation Services

The State of Utah Division of Purchasing issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for background investigation services. The contract resulting from this RFP will be for 5 years, with an anticipated start date of November 14, 2024. The RFP is a solutions-based solicitation, and the State of Utah is seeking equipment, products, and/or services that meet the requirements outlined in the RFP. Some key points about the contract include: • The contract is for background investigation and reporting services. • The State of Utah reserves the right to reopen this solicitation or create a new solicitation if it determines there may be more competition for the procurement item. • The contract may be modified to incorporate new technology or technological upgrades. • The contract may be terminated for convenience, without cause, if there is no reported spend for any one fiscal year of its contract. • The vendor must provide a quarterly administrative fee and report if awarded a contract.
