VEHICLE WASH AND RELATED SERVICES

The County of Orange has awarded a contract to Orange Car Wash, Inc. for vehicle wash and related services. The contract includes traditional vehicle wash services, mobile eco-friendly vehicle wash services, and other related services. The contractor must provide services at their facility, which must be within a 10-mile radius of 445 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana, CA 92701, and be open for business seven days a week. The contractor must also provide online or telephone booking access for County agencies to schedule vehicle wash services. The contract has a total value of $480,000.00 and is set to expire on March 6, 2029. Some key points of the contract include: • The contractor must provide a car wash log for each vehicle cleaned, which must include the service requested, vehicle number, date, County agency/department name, contract price, and name and signature of the person requesting the service. • The contractor must guarantee that damage will not occur to any vehicle as a result of the service being provided. • The contractor must have a system in place to record each vehicle cleaned and attach the log to the monthly statement. • The contract number must be referenced on all contractor invoices, which must be payable upon submission of the invoice and the original vehicle wash log on a monthly basis. Some of the services that will be provided under the contract include: • Traditional vehicle wash services, including exterior wash, vacuum, and wipe down of interior surfaces • Mobile eco-friendly vehicle wash services, including exterior wash and interior cleaning • Additional services, such as exterior detail and interior detail, may be provided with prior approval from the County.
