Janitor Services (24-Hour) During a Disaster

This contract is for 24-hour janitorial services during a disaster, to be provided by Service King, Inc. The services will be performed at various locations throughout the City of Port St. Lucie, including the Utilities Administration Building, Main Police Department, Emergency Operations Center, and City Hall. The contract term is from February 5, 2024, to February 4, 2025, with the option to renew for three additional 12-month terms. The total amount to be paid by the City to the Contractor is on a per unit price basis, with a total amount to be determined based on the services provided. Key aspects of the contract include: * The Contractor will provide one service employee per location to stay and work at multiple locations throughout the City during and after a disaster. * The Contractor will provide janitorial services daily, including removing trash, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, and performing other duties as needed. * The Contractor will ensure that the shelter is kept clean and sanitary, and will provide all necessary paper products, trash liners, and hazardous disposal containers. * The Contractor will maintain Workers' Compensation Insurance, Commercial General Liability insurance, and other required insurance coverage. * The Contractor will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and executive orders, including those related to non-discrimination and affirmative action.
