075.25.B7 School Based Mental Health Services

This contract is for School Based Mental Health Services for students in the Howard County Public School System. The contract is between the Board of Education of Howard County and Families First Counseling and Psychiatry LLC. The contract term is from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with the option to renew for an additional four years. The contract value is not to exceed $125,000 annually, with a total contract value of $625,000 over the term of the contract. The contractor is required to provide mental health services to students, including counseling and psychiatry services. The contractor must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to data privacy and security. • The contract includes a provision for the contractor to provide services on an as-needed basis. • The contract requires the contractor to exercise no administrative authority over the work of employees of the Board. • The contract includes a provision for the contractor to warranty and represent that each of its employees, subcontractors, or agents assigned to perform any services under the terms of this Agreement shall have the appropriate skills, training, and background reasonably commensurate with his or her level of performance or responsibility. • The contract requires the contractor to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to data privacy and security. • The contract includes a provision for the contractor to indemnify and save harmless the Board, its officers, agents, and employees with respect to any claim, action, cost, or judgment for patent infringement, or trademark, or copyright violation arising out of the purchase of materials, supplies, equipment, or services covered by this contract.
