Custodial Services for Town Facilities

The Town of Miami Lakes is seeking comprehensive custodial services for its facilities, including the Government Center, Mary Collins Community Center, Youth Center, and other locations. The contract will be a performance-based contract, with the contractor responsible for meeting specific quality standards. The contractor will be required to provide daily custodial services, including interior and exterior cleaning, and to implement a green cleaning plan. The contract will be for an initial term of three years with two options to renew for additional periods of one year each. The total contract expenditure is anticipated to be $1,080,000.00, with a contingency amount of $180,100 for additional services. • The contract includes specific quality standards based on measurable outcomes of the services rendered. • The contractor will be responsible for meeting the minimum quality levels and for how the quality levels are met. • The contractor will have the flexibility to adjust its processes as necessary during the contract term. • The contract includes a penalty system for contractors that fail to meet the minimum quality levels. • The contractor will be required to provide customer service, quality control, and all other services necessary to perform the work. • The contract includes a provision for the contractor to reduce the environmental impacts of the work performed under the contract.
