Email Archiving Software

The contract is for email archiving software with iPro Tech, LLC, for a two-year term with an option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. The contract is worth $104,160.00 plus applicable sales taxes. The software will be used for mailbox archiving, eDiscovery, and Live File. The County needs to continue using the existing platform for at least another two years to ensure compliance with the County Email Retention policy. • The contract is a sole source procurement, as iPro is the proprietary developer and sole distributor of its software products. • The County has been using the software since 2006 and changing software solutions at this time is not practical or cost-effective. • The IT department is testing the archive and discovery features available through its use of Outlook and may make some changes to the business process for email archive and discovery over the next two years.
