The County of Riverside is seeking proposals from qualified bidders to provide Learning Disability Evaluations and Diagnosis Services under the California Work Opportunity and Responsibility for Kids (CalWORKs) program. The purpose of the proposed services is to conduct assessments of CalWORKs participants suspected of having a learning disability. However, the RFP was cancelled to incorporate additional program requirements into the scope of work. The County may reissue the RFP in the future.
• The RFP was cancelled effective May 26, 2023.
• The County of Riverside posts all bidding opportunities on two websites: www.purchasing.co.riverside.ca.us and www.publicpurchase.com.
• The proposed services will allow DPSS staff to develop a Welfare-to-Work (WTW) Plan with the participants that accurately measures their aptitude and assesses their needs.
• The department estimates up to 25 participants will require these services per month.
