Concession Services at Sand Key Park

The contract is for concession services at Sand Key Park in Pinellas County, Florida. The vendor will provide food, beverages, and retail items, as well as rental of beach chairs and umbrellas. The contract term is 5 years, with the option to renew. The vendor will pay the county a percentage of monthly gross sales. The contract includes provisions for minimum operating standards, compensation, and termination. The scope of work includes providing concession services 7 days a week, 365 days a year, except when the park is closed. The vendor must maintain the designated service area and storage area, and keep them in good repair and in a clean, neat, orderly, and sanitary condition. • The contract requires the vendor to provide a business plan, including estimated annual gross sales, merchandising and marketing plan, and staffing plan. • The vendor must also provide a monthly gross sales report and an annual profit and loss statement. • The contract includes provisions for termination, including failure to comply with the provisions of the agreement. • The vendor must secure and maintain any necessary permits and licenses, and comply with all laws, regulations, and ordinances concerning its operation. • The contract requires the vendor to maintain minimum insurance requirements, as specified in Exhibit D.
