Services for the Collection and Disposal of Household Hazardous Waste

The County of Kauai is seeking services for the collection and disposal of household hazardous waste. The contract involves the collection of hazardous waste from four residential collection events and the disposal of the waste. The contract was awarded to EnviroServices & Training Center, LLC. The scope of work includes the mobilization and demobilization of equipment, the collection and transportation of hazardous waste, and the disposal of the waste. The contract also includes the provision of personnel and equipment to support the collection and disposal of hazardous waste. • The contract involves the collection of automotive lead acid batteries, industrial lead acid batteries, oil-based paints and ignitables, and other non-regulated household hazardous waste. • The contract requires the vendor to provide a detailed plan for the collection and disposal of hazardous waste, including the use of properly licensed and trained personnel and equipment. • The contract also requires the vendor to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and laws related to the collection and disposal of hazardous waste.
