Fire Extinguisher Service

The City of Independence, Missouri is seeking a contractor to provide fire extinguisher service, including maintenance, repair, and purchase. The contract has a period of performance of one year, with the option to extend for an additional four one-year periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing fire extinguisher service to various locations, including the George Owens Nature Park, Courtney Bend Water Plant, and WPC Plant and Pump Station. The contract includes a list of items to be provided, including re-filling of dry chemical extinguishers, CO2 extinguishers, and halon extinguishers, as well as hydrostatic testing and annual inspections. The contract also includes a labor rate per hour for repairs on and off the job site, as well as a training rate per person.
