SECURITY CAMERA SYSTEM FOR SHERIFF INMATE TRANSPORT BUS

The County of Riverside Purchasing and Fleet Services issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a security camera system for one Sheriff Inmate Transport Bus. The purpose of the system is to monitor against illegal or improper behavior on-board the bus and to provide an investigative tool in case of any incidents. The RFQ was canceled effective June 5, 2013. • The County was seeking proposals from qualified companies for the security camera system. • The system was intended to monitor against vandalism, theft, assault, and other incidents. • A bidders meeting was held on May 20, 2013. • The County appreciates the interest of the bidders and their company's name will remain on the vendor's list for future bid considerations.
