Description
The contract provides for the design, supply, and installation of temporary generator provisions at Longwood University’s Boiler Plant, including a manual transfer switch, new grounding, and re‑routing of standby power feeders. The scope also requires demolition of the existing concrete pad and construction of a new pad for the transfer switch, as well as removal of a 1600 A main circuit breaker to convert the switchboard to a main‑lugs‑only configuration. The work must be completed by mid‑July 2019, with a notice‑to‑proceed target of 20 May 2019.
• Electrical installation of a manual transfer switch and associated tap box.
