Service, Maintenance and Repair of Small and Large Equipment

The Chicago Park District has awarded a contract to Shorewood Home & Auto, Inc., Arlington Power Equipment, and Baltic Marine Services, Inc. for the service, maintenance, and repair of small and large equipment. The contract has a term of 5 years, with an option to renew for an additional 4 years. The contract is valued at $960,830 for the initial term, with expenditures for services under each extension term to be authorized by annual appropriation and subject to each year's budget. The scope of work includes servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment such as blowers, chain saws, concrete saws, edgers, fork lifts, gators, generators, golf carts, power washers, push mowers, salt spreaders, tractors, trailers, utility vehicles, and weed eaters. The contractors will provide all required equipment, labor, materials, transportation, vehicles, and any/all other services necessary to service, maintain, and repair small and large equipment in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. • The contract is for a period of 5 years with an option to renew for an additional 4 years. • The contract is valued at $960,830 for the initial term. • The scope of work includes servicing, maintaining, and repairing equipment such as blowers, chain saws, concrete saws, edgers, fork lifts, gators, generators, golf carts, power washers, push mowers, salt spreaders, tractors, trailers, utility vehicles, and weed eaters. • The contractors will provide all required equipment, labor, materials, transportation, vehicles, and any/all other services necessary to service, maintain, and repair small and large equipment. • The contract requires the contractors to have experience and an established, credible reputation for servicing large volume equipment. • The contract requires the contractors to have technicians who are fully equipped and appropriately licensed/certified. • The contract requires the contractors to perform field maintenance and on-site repairs throughout the contract term and CPD locations.
