EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

The City of Palm Bay is seeking a vendor to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to its employees. The program should include initial and annual consultation with key City officials, training for supervisors, and access to counseling and other support services. The contract is for a three-year term, with the option to renew. The City is looking for a vendor that can provide a comprehensive EAP program that meets the needs of its employees. Some of the key services that the vendor should provide include: • Initial and annual consultation with key City officials • Training for supervisors on recognition of problematic employee situations and referral to EAP services • Access to counseling and other support services for employees • A website with additional support functions and tools to assist employees • Critical Incident/Grief Counseling services as needed • Mail/Deliver booklets or certificates directly to the City after review and approval by the City.
