Senior Care Services

The Flagler County Board of County Commissioners has awarded a contract to Capstone Home Healthcare LLC to provide senior care services to Flagler County residents. The contract includes a variety of homemaking, respite, and personal care services to assist elderly residents in leading a reasonably independent life in their own homes or the homes of relatives or caregivers. The contract is for a period of two years, with the option for renewal. The services will be funded through the Community Care for the Elderly Act, Florida's Alzheimer's Disease Initiative, and the Federal Older Americans Act. • The contract includes a variety of services, such as homemaker and chore services, respite care, adult day care, personal care services, counseling, information and referral, and emergency home repair services. • The contractor is required to provide all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to perform the services. • The contractor is also required to maintain public records and provide them to the County upon request. • The contract includes provisions for payment, pricing, and reimbursement. • The contractor is required to have insurance coverage, including workers' compensation and general liability insurance.
