Description
The Santa Fe County Water Reclamation Facility will be expanded from 0.5 MGD to 1.0 MGD using a design‑build delivery method on a lump‑sum basis. The selected joint‑venture (AUI Inc. and Molzen Corbin) must provide all design, engineering, construction, and commissioning services while keeping the existing plant in continuous operation. The project includes a membrane‑bioreactor (MBR) train, expanded fine‑screen and grit removal, new process building, utility upgrades, and compliance with NPDES Tier 2 effluent limits. The contract ceiling is set at $13 million, but offers may exceed that amount with subsequent negotiation. The procurement proceeded through a two‑phase competitive process, with an extended Phase II submission deadline of September 1 2026 and a final award intent announced on October 5 2026.
