Business Plan Development for Transportation Management Organizations

The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for business plan development for Transportation Management Organizations (TMOs) in the Sacramento region. The selected vendor, Steer Group, will develop business plans for individual TMOs to help them continue providing outreach and support to commuters, employers, and other agencies in the region. The scope of work includes exploring funding partnerships and assessing opportunities and challenges with existing TMO structures and funding streams. The project is expected to start on August 20, 2018. • The RFP was issued on July 9, 2018, and closed on July 31, 2018. • The selected vendor will collaborate with SACOG staff, TMOs, and stakeholders to complete the scope of work. • The project aims to help TMOs maximize their efforts in promoting travel behavior change. • The selected vendor will receive general direction from the SACOG Project Manager.
