Description
The City of Temple is seeking to establish a contract with one or more contractors for as-needed wrecker and impound services. The contract includes various services such as heavy-duty towing, medium-duty towing, flatbed tow truck, forklift, skid steer, and other equipment rentals. The contract also includes labor costs, fuel charges, and other miscellaneous fees. The contractor will be required to provide these services on an as-needed basis, and the city will pay for the services based on the agreed-upon rates.
Some of the key services and their corresponding rates are:
- Heavy-duty towing: $950.00 (4-hour minimum for incident management events)
- Medium-duty towing: $480.00 per hour
- Flatbed tow truck: $300.00 per hour
- Forklift: $225.00 per hour
- Skid steer: $300.00 per hour
- Grapple bucket: $300.00
- Power broom sweeper: $300.00
- On-demand labor: $105.00 per hour
- Refrigerated trailer: $375.00 per hour
- Safety equipment headsets: $150.00 per hour per headset
- Incident response unit: $350.00 per hour
- Truck tractor: $375.00 per hour
- Sliding axle trailer: $375.00 per hour
- Truck dolly or converter dolly: $600.00
- Incident manager: $300.00 per hour
- Light tower: $200.00 per hour
- Shrink wrap: $200.00 flat fee
- Banding material: $200.00 flat fee
- Pallet jack: $100.00 per hour
- Additional pallets: $40.00 each
- Spreader bars: $400.00
- Sublet charges: cost plus 38% of total bill
- Rental equipment or special tools: cost plus 38% of total bill
- Fuel charge: 10% of total bill
- Air cushion recovery: $1250.00 per hour
The city will pay for these services based on the agreed-upon rates, and the contractor will be required to provide the services on an as-needed basis.
