Description
The County of Riverside is seeking proposals from qualified parties to provide initiatives to address COVID-19 disparities. The goal is to expand community capacity to prevent and control COVID-19 infection or transmission among populations at higher risk. The contract was awarded to eight vendors, pending approval from the Riverside County Board of Supervisors. The contract aims to advance health equity through strategies, interventions, and services that consider systemic barriers and potentially discriminatory practices.
• The initiative will provide funding to Community Based Organizations (CBOs), Faith Based Organizations (FBOs), and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to address COVID-19 related health disparities.
