PUBLIC ALERT AND WARNING SERVICES

The County of Riverside is seeking a comprehensive mass notification platform for the County of Riverside. The contract is expected to be for 5 years with the option to renew annually up to 10 years. The selected vendor will provide a unified countywide mass notification system that will run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. Key features of the system include integration with the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) and the ability to provide alerts and warnings to the public in the event of an emergency. Some of the key responsibilities of the vendor include: • Providing a comprehensive mass notification platform for the County of Riverside • Integrating with the Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (IPAWS) • Providing a unified countywide mass notification system that will run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year using a Software as a Service (SaaS) model • Providing alerts and warnings to the public in the event of an emergency • Ensuring the system is available 24/7 and can handle a large volume of messages • Providing training and support to County staff on the use of the system
