Description
The Sparta Area Schools is seeking a contractor to demo an existing sign, furnish, and install a new district message board. The project requires specific materials and certifications, including a valid Michigan sign specialists license, OSHA 30 certification, and current NCCO crane certification. The scope of work includes removing the existing sign cabinet, examining it for structural integrity, and installing a new digital display with specific specifications. Key features of the project include:
• Demolition of the existing sign
• Installation of a new Daktronics 6mm 2V 4'2" x 7'6" digital display with cellular modem and lifetime data plan
• Fabricated aluminum sign cabinet with UL listing and specific paint finishes
• Internal illumination utilizing Principal QwikMod LED's
• Copy and logo requirements, including 1/2" acrylic pushed through the aluminum face and 3-color graphics
