Description
The County of Los Angeles is seeking a vendor to provide a county-wide point-of-sale (POS) solution. The awarded vendor must comply with all requirements and standards set forth in the attached specifications. The solution should include system installation, configuration, integration, data migration, and customization. The contract will be for a term of up to five years. The County will evaluate bids based on pricing and the technical adequacy of the proposed solution.
• The solution must meet the County's requirements for POS terminals, EMV card readers, receipt printers, barcode scanners, cash drawers, and check scanners.
• The vendor must provide initial training for staff and administrators, as well as optional refresher training.
• The vendor must provide ongoing maintenance and support for the solution.
• The County reserves the right to cancel or terminate the contract if the vendor fails to perform.
• The County reserves the right to select the bidder that it determines to be the most responsive and responsible.
