Description
The California Correctional Training and Rehabilitation Authority (CALCTRA) is seeking bids for the rental of one 25-ton package air conditioning unit, trailer mounted, at Valley State Prison. The contract term is expected to be two years, with the option to extend for an additional year. The bidder must provide proof of one year of experience with similar services and meet other requirements outlined in the bid document.
• The air conditioning unit must be 460v-3ph-60Amps and include one 50 feet of supply ducting, one 50 feet of return ducting, one 100 feet of power cables, and one set of electrical tail.
• The bidder must provide replacement air filters for the length of usage and deliver and pick up the air conditioning unit at the specified location.
• The bidder must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to worker's compensation, insurance, and environmental protection.
• The bidder must also comply with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation's (CDCR) policies and procedures.
• The contract will be awarded based on best value, considering factors such as cost, past performance, and experience.
