Description
The Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center is seeking capable and responsible sources to provide fire door remediation services for approximately 38 doors. The scope of work includes correcting deficiencies and bringing all fire door assemblies into compliance with current regulations. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to complete the work. The work must be performed in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local guidelines and specifications.
• The contractor must have an established business with a fully qualified Fire Safety Engineer (FSE) and a backup FSE.
• The contractor must provide written assurance of the competency of their personnel and a list of credentials of approved FSEs.
• The contractor must comply with all environmental protection regulations and ensure that all hazardous materials are properly packaged and stored.
• The contractor must provide a report documenting all corrective actions taken and certify that the work has been completed in accordance with the contract requirements.
