The State of California’s Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive transcription services for audio and video recordings associated with its Office of Legal Affairs and Office of Internal Affairs. The contractor must deliver accurate, certified transcripts within specified turnaround times, adhere to strict formatting and confidentiality standards, and manage secure transmission of source media and finished transcripts. The contract is a two‑year base period with potential extensions and carries a total estimated value of approximately $150‑$165 k.
• Provide transcription of hearings, interviews, interrogations, police dispatch, surveillance, and jail‑house recordings.
• Offer multiple turnaround tiers (same‑day, next‑day, 3‑5 days, 6‑10 days) with per‑page pricing on Exhibit B‑1.
• Comply with HIPAA Business Associate Agreement, PREA policy, Darfur Act certification, and background‑check requirements; maintain required insurance coverage.
