Water Meter Inventory RFP

New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is seeking proposals from qualified manufacturers or authorized distributors of water meters for residential, commercial, and industrial applications within NBU's water distribution system. The successful respondent will be required to supply meters in various sizes, provide technical support and training, and maintain records of water meter details. The contract term is expected to be one year with up to four additional one-year terms. Key aspects of the proposal include: • Supplying meters in various sizes and configurations • Providing technical support and training to NBU personnel • Maintaining records of water meter details, including features, country of manufacture, and warranty coverage • Complying with minimum technical requirements, such as compatibility with the Itron 500W endpoint system and adherence to industry standards • Providing a minimum full warranty of ten years
