Description
The Tifton – Tift County Water/Wastewater Department is seeking bids for the construction of the FY 2025 Water Main Improvements. The project involves installing 8,334 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water main and 1,135 linear feet of 2-inch PVC water main, connection to existing water main via tapping sleeve and valve, erosion control, traffic control, and all associated measures for the complete project. The contractor must be a licensed Utility Contractor by the State of Georgia and provide a bid bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than 10% of the amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount.
