Description
The State Unit on Aging is seeking to continue its partnership with Chocolate Software, LLC, to provide a financial management system that supports federal and state allocations, budgets, and payment processes for the 16 Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) across Colorado. The system, known as the Colorado Budget & Reimbursement Expenditure System (CBRES), has been in place for 14 years and has saved countless hours of staff time and eliminated many human errors. The State Unit on Aging requires the continued use of this system due to its seamless interface with the AAAs' system and the lack of alternative vendors that can provide a similar system.
• The contract term is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
• The total cost for the contract is $91,200.00.
• The system provides fiscal management, budgeting, and reimbursement services to the AAAs.
• Chocolate Software also provides remote hosting and management of the FoodPro application, which supports nutrient analysis, recipe development, and menu development for the AAAs and other nutrition service providers.
