Medical Imaging Equipment for Medical Examiners Office

The Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide medical imaging equipment for post-mortem examinations. The equipment will include diagnostic X-ray machines, scanners, and fluoroscopy systems to assist state medical examiners in determining the cause and manner of death. The objectives of this project are to accurately identify injuries and medical conditions, establish identity, detect subtle or extensive injuries, provide evidence for legal cases, and reduce invasive procedures. * The equipment will be used for post-mortem examinations * The equipment must be able to provide high-quality images for legal cases * The vendor must be able to provide maintenance and support for the equipment * The vendor must be able to provide training for the state medical examiners on how to use the equipment * The equipment must be able to integrate with existing systems and software
