Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a certified Small Business, Micro‑Business, or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its District 06 facility in Bakersfield, Kern County. The contractor must supply all labor, tools, cleaning supplies, equipment, and related materials, and must be registered with the California Labor Commissioner’s Office for janitorial services. No subcontracting is allowed, and the work will be performed after‑hours on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedule over a three‑year term.
• Provide full‑service cleaning (daily after‑hours, weekly deep clean, monthly polishing, quarterly window cleaning, annual carpet extraction).
• Supply all consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning chemicals meeting Green Seal GS‑37 standards).
• Maintain compliance with California Government Code 19134 wage and benefit requirements (unless an owner‑operator with no employees).
