Description
The Citadel seeks a qualified vendor to perform a comprehensive five‑year internal inspection of fire‑protection piping, valves, and related components across its Charleston campus and Beach House facility, adhering to NFPA 25 (2020) standards. The work includes internal pipe and obstruction inspections, flow and pressure testing of standpipes, valve cleaning and resetting, fire‑department‑connection back‑flushing, visual sprinkler checks, and delivery of detailed reports with certification. Preference may be given to U.S.‑ and South Carolina‑made products and to vendors with an in‑state presence.
• Inspect all 30 fire‑protection risers (28 wet, 2 dry/pre‑action) and associated standpipes.
• Conduct internal pipe flushing, valve cleaning, pressure gauge calibration, and flow testing per NFPA 25 tables.
• Provide a full inspection report, photos, updated tags, and compliance certification; pricing is open‑ended and must be included in the quote.
