Special Testing Inspector & Materials Testing Services-Oswegatchie Fire Station

The Town of Waterford is seeking a construction materials testing firm to provide Special Inspector services and inspection & testing of construction materials services for the construction of the new Oswegatchie Fire Station. The selected firm will be responsible for providing monthly reporting, on-call materials testing and inspection services, and paying close attention to provide the necessary inspections in accordance with all testing and inspection requirements. The firm will also be responsible for attending meetings, signing-in and out at the job site, and maintaining a daily log. • The project includes testing and inspections for a new structure and the development of site work for traversing and parking. • The firm will be responsible for providing Special Inspector services for the coordination, execution, and oversight of material testing & inspections for the construction phase of the project. • The firm will be responsible for providing “on-call” materials testing and inspection services to be billed on a Time and Material basis. • The firm will be responsible for all materials testing and inspections whether identified or not in the Contract Documents. • The firm will be responsible for immediately notifying the Construction Manager and installing Subcontractor of any and all non-compliance items during installation or testing in writing.
