Description
The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform a single preventive‑maintenance (PM) visit—including minor repairs, filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, and water‑treatment testing—for each DHR county office location. The work must be completed between 7 July 2026 and 30 September 2026, with all documentation (inspection forms, before/after photos, and water‑treatment reports) submitted on site. Only contractors that participated in the mandatory site‑visit for Round 1 are eligible to bid, and all required state licenses, EPA refrigerant certification, and gas‑fitter certifications must be current.
• Perform full‑service HVAC preventive‑maintenance at every DHR location (filter changes, coil cleaning, refrigerant verification, electrical/mechanical checks).
• Provide water‑treatment testing for 11 specific counties (Baldwin, Blount, Calhoun, Chilton, Cullman, Elmore, Etowah, Jefferson Bessemer, Madison, Morgan, St. Clair).
• Submit detailed inspection forms, before/after photos, and water‑treatment reports; any repair discovered must be quoted and approved in writing before work begins, and all work must be finished by 30 Sep 2026.
